Text to Video: Generate Video from a Prompt

Generate video from a written description

Overview

Text to Video turns a written description into a short, ready-to-share video. Describe the scene you want, pick your settings, and SmartlyQ generates it - great for social clips, ads, and intros.

Where to find it

From the sidebar, open Creative Studio > Text to Video.

How to use it
  1. Write a detailed prompt describing your video (subject, setting, motion, mood).
  2. Choose your options - video length, resolution, aspect ratio, and how many videos to generate.
  3. Click Create.

Your video is generated and ready to download or drop into the Video Editor. The credits required are shown before you generate.

Tips
  • Be specific and visual - describe the action, camera movement, and style for the best result.
  • Match the aspect ratio to the platform - 9:16 for reels and stories, 16:9 for YouTube.
  • Start at a lower resolution to iterate quickly, then re-generate your favourite at high resolution.
