How to use the Data Analyst

In SmartlyQ, we can upload our documents/data and perform powerful data analysis on the content, or even visualize key data and data trends!

To find the Data Analyst Module, navigate to the Workflows section of the left-hand menu, and select "Data Analyst"

You will be asked to upload your document to begin processing the data/content. You can also add multiple PDF, DOC, TXT, and other files together.

Let's go through a simple example:

In this example, we have downloaded a free txt ebook copy of the famous children's novel "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, obtained from here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/11

Click on the "Upload File" button and a modal window will appear asking to select our preferred document to upload. Once we select our document(s), wait until the upload process has finished.

We will now be presented with a few predefined options, or we can choose to write our own prompt on how to process the uploaded data:

For our example, let's select "Summarize Document Content" (from the predefined prompts), to see what we'll get:

Here's a custom prompt "What are the various themes presented in this novel?"
